Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Star Point website and of every game we publish. Please read them before using our games.
Last updated: August 25, 2026
1. Who we are
Star Point is an independent digital games studio based in Argentina. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Star Point. You can reach us at info@starpoint.dev.
2. Accepting these terms
By installing, opening or using any of our games, or by using this website, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our games or this site.
3. Your licence to use our games
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use our games for your own private, non-commercial entertainment, on devices you own or control. You may not sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute a game, nor copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer it, except where the law expressly allows you to do so regardless of this restriction.
4. Distribution through Google Play
Our games are distributed through Google Play. Your download and use of a game is also subject to Google’s own terms, and Google — not us — is the merchant of record for purchases. We do not control Google Play’s availability, pricing display, regional restrictions or account rules.
5. Purchases and refunds
Some games offer optional in-app purchases, such as removing advertising or buying in-game items. All payments are processed by Google Play. Refunds are handled by Google under its refund policy and under the consumer-protection rules that apply where you live; we cannot process a payment or issue a refund ourselves. If something went wrong with a purchase, write to us and we will help you sort it out with Google where we can.
6. In-game items and virtual currency have no real-world value
Coins, chips, tokens, cosmetics and any other in-game item are a licensed part of the game, not property and not money. They have no monetary value outside the game. They cannot be exchanged, redeemed or cashed out for real money, goods or services, cannot be transferred between accounts or sold to anyone, and may be changed or discontinued as we update a game. Nothing we offer is a wager, a bet or a game of chance played for money or anything of monetary value.
7. Advertising
Most of our games are free and supported by advertising served by third parties, including Google AdMob. Those third parties may collect and process data in accordance with their own policies, and advertising content is not ours. Where a game offers a purchase to remove advertising, that purchase removes the advertising we control.
8. Age requirements
Each game states its intended audience on its Google Play listing, and some are rated for a general or all-ages audience. If you are a minor in your country, you should only use our games with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
9. Acceptable use
Please use our games fairly. Do not attempt to cheat, exploit bugs for advantage, interfere with other players, disrupt or overload our servers, use automated tools to access our services, or use our games for anything unlawful. Where a game includes multiplayer or content you submit, you are responsible for what you send, and we may remove content or suspend access if these terms are broken.
10. Intellectual property
Our games, their artwork, audio, text, code and the Star Point name and logo belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
Some games incorporate third-party open data and assets under their own licences, and each such game credits them inside the game. In particular, our Buenos Aires map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database Licence (ODbL) and from the Buenos Aires city government’s open data programme under CC BY 2.5 AR. Those licences govern that material.
11. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue a game, a feature or an online service at any time, including for maintenance or for technical, legal or commercial reasons. We do not promise that a game will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and online features may end.
12. Warranties and liability
Our games are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or loss of in-game items. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your statutory consumer rights under Argentine consumer-protection law and any equivalent rights where you live.
13. Privacy
Each game has its own privacy policy, linked from its page on this site and from its Google Play listing. Those policies explain what a game collects and why.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, and the courts of the City of Buenos Aires have jurisdiction — without depriving you of the protection of any mandatory law or competent court of the country where you live.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our games evolve or the law changes. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and continuing to use our games after a change means you accept the updated terms.
